Additionally, Mr. Graeff produced the soundtrack for the Oscar Award winning film, Leaving Las Vegas, and was a contributing producer on soundtracks for the films Reality Bites, and the Sydney Pollack re-make of Sabrina, staring Harrison Ford among others. Since starting Lucini, Daniel has appeared on CNN, SIRUS Radio and was acknowledged as one of the top entrepreneurs in the food business under 40 by "Gourmet News." Daniel received his Executive Master of Business Administration from UCLA in 1996. In 1997, Mr. Graeff and his wife Renée Frigo decided to fulfill their entrepreneurial desire and founded Lucini Italia with the goal to bring the highest quality, affordably priced extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany to America. For Daniel and Renée, Lucini offered the creativity and passion of food, wine and cooking they both shared combined with their love of Italy. Today the company has grown considerably with more than twenty-five items in the Natural, Specialty and Organic categories. Lucini is recognized as the number one premium Italian brand in America by the trade, food writers, magazine editors, world-class chefs ranging from Mario Batali, Emeril Lagasse, Charlie Trotter and Jamie Oliver and is a favorite of Oprah Winfrey. In 2009, Mr. Graeff joined the Children’s Tumor Foundation as co-driver of the Foundation’s Racing4Research car at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Inspired by the brave children and families he met that weekend, Mr. Graeff has now dedicated himself to raising awareness and funds on behalf of Children's Tumor Foundation. Mr. Graeff continues to co-pilot the No. 4 Racing4Research race car as well as providing management support and guidance as an external program advisor. Taking his involvement one step further, Mr. Graeff joined the Board of Directors of the Children’s Tumor Foundation in July 2011. Mr. Graeff currently resides in Miami with his wife and two children. |
