The Foundation has 37 chapters and affiliates throughout the United States: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mid-Atlantic Region, Missouri, New Hampshire, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming. The National Neurofibromatosis Foundation was founded in 1978 by Allan E. Rubenstein, M.D., Lynne Courtemanche Shapirio R.N., and Joel Hirschtritt, Esq. In January 2005, the Foundation changed it's name to the Children's Tumor Foundation. |
