The Children's Tumor Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy. Whether collected by phone, website, mail or personal meeting we will not sell, rent, barter or in any way share any information you have provided us with any person or entity outside of the Foundation. The Children's Tumor Foundation is the sole owner of the information collected. Personal information is collected to process on-line donations through our website. The information collected includes: name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. We only collect e-mail addresses for general inquiries made through our website, unless additional personal information is provided. The Foundation does not engage third parties, i.e. professional fundraising groups, to solicit on our behalf. All of our fundraising is done through our paid staff or our volunteer Chapter and Affiliates. Most states do not consider United Way (UW), Community Health Charities (CHC) or the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) third party fundraisers. However, some states have taken this position that organizations like these that process contributions through payroll deduction constitute third parties. We are members of UW, CHC and CFC and continue to work through them to offer our donors convenient opportunities to continue their support. We do not solicit by phone. All emails sent to multiple addresses include an unsubscribe button. A constituent may at their option opt out of our email distribution list. Our letters include information on our programs and accomplishments that we hope even non-donors will find informative. We have several levels of coding our database to provide our supporters with their preferred amount of information: Do Not Solicit (DNS): Donors requesting DNS may receive our quarterly print newsletter and bimonthly email research NewsBlast, but will not receive direct mail solicitation letters.
