Bob has served as the President/CEO of IMS (Integrated Marketing Solutions, Ltd) – a business consulting/marketing services organization – since 1998.  He has been a consultant and speaker on integrated marketing communications, marketing measurment, incentives and brand management.  Prior corporate experience includes multiple sales and marketing positions at General Motors Corporation (18 Years – Oldsmobile/OnStar/GM Corporate).  His responsibilities included marketing, national sales promotion, national merchandising, field sales, field marketing and dealer operations.

Past clients inlcude, the NCAA and Host Communications, the Walt Disney Company, Indy Racing League, PGA, LPGA, Ford Motor Company, Daimler Chrysler, Audi of America, General Motors, Pontiac, Ford, Visteon Global Operations, Visteon Aftermarket, Volkswagen, Siemens, NASCAR, the Accident Fund, Continental Teves, and many others.

In addition to founding IMS, Bob co-founded ZevXchange in 2001, an online “clean air credit” trading portal.  ZevXchange grew to have operations in five states with assembly operations in California and New York as well as General Mortors dealerships in California, New York and Massachusetts.

In 2002 Bob acquired Web Elite, a custom web application and global hosting center (sold in 2007).

In 2007 IMS expanded into Asia and became an investor/partner in Chinatool (CT), a Hong Kong trading company with operations in China, Europe and North America.  Today, it has over 1000 employees worldwide.  CT has expanded its operation to inlcude the manufacturer of plastic parts as well as moulds.

Mr. Schaffer has been a board member of the Children’s Tumor Foundation since 2007 and chairs it’s Public Education Committee.  Both Mr. and Mrs. Schaffer are also involved in local charities.

Mr. Schaffer holds degrees in Marketing and Business from Northwood University and resides in Clarkston, Michigan.  He is an avid hockey player and coach, as well as a skier, collector of anything with a motor and a lifelong riparian.  Married to Wendy, they have three children, Cole, Madison, and their youngest MacGregor who was diagnosed with NF1 shortly after his birth.
