RECENT EVENTS:
NF Community Symposium with Eric Legius, M.D.
Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 6 p.m.
Twin Cities Campus, University of Minnesota
Dinner will be provided.
We would like for families who may not be able to attend the all day symposium to
have a chance to take part in this neurofibromatosis event, or, in addition to the all
day symposium, this event will be more specific to families. For this evening event,
the agenda will be an informal gathering to hear Eric Legius, M.D., of the Catholic
University of Leuven in Belgium speak. Dr. Legius specializes in molecular
pathogenesis of tumors in patients with neurofibromatosis type 1, molecular
pathogenesis of microdeletions in neurofibromatosis type 1 and intestinal
neurofibromatosis.
Families are encouraged to bring their children to this event
where there will be a staff member conducting activities for them during Dr. Legius’
presentation.
