::  NFWALK  UPDATE   -   THE WALK IS STILL A GO   ::

WE ARE MOVING LOCATIONS AND TIMES

Due the flood emergency, the 2010 Music City NF 5K will take place at the Centennial Park Bandshell at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 8.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to time this event but are hoping everyone will walk with us then join us for Hog Heaven BBQ, great live music and a fabulous silent auction.

The Tennessee Association of Craft Artists is having its annual event nearby so parking will be premium. The best place to park will be

near the Sportsplex and anywhere on 25th Ave.

Additional Information

The NF Walk is a national program that raises both awareness and critical funds to support the hundreds of thousands of adults, children and families who battle neurofibromatosis (NF) every day. NF causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to blindness, loss of hearing, learning disabilities, skeletal defects, and many other serious complications. Funds raised through the NF Walk program support the Children's Tumor Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds world-class research into NF therapies to treat and eventually cure NF.
