A Preclinical Consortium, Grant Awards and Toolbox to Accelerate Candidate NF Drug Screening

There is currently no effective drug treatment for neurofibromatosis (NF). To help change that, the Drug Discovery Initiative (DDI) funds & facilitates preclinical screening of candidate treatments for NF.

DDI NF Preclinical Consortium: Part of a new $4M program to accelerate the identification of effective drug therapies, this four-year multi-Center Consortium will screen candidate NF drugs in multiple tumor models of NF. For more information, please click here.

DDI Awards: Seed grants of $15,000 for in vitro screens, $30,000 for in vivo screens (includes 10% indirect costs) of candidate NF therapeutics.

DDI Advanced Awards: Advanced funding of up to $50,000. Available only to individuals who have previously received an in vivo DDI Award. For more information contact CTF.
