Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program The United States Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program in Neurofibromatosis (CDMRP NFRP) was established in 1996 with a mission to promote research directed toward the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neurofibromatosis, as well as enhance the quality of life for persons with the disorder.

The Children's Tumor Foundation announces the availability of 2011 Schwannomatosis Awards up to $75,000. Schwannomatosis Awards may be requested for research in any area of relevance to advancing schwannomatosis research in the following priority areas: Genetics, Cell Biology & Translational Research, or Clinical Research.
