NFCN recognizes clinics that provide appropriate NF care through implementation of current consensus clinical care guidelines for the NF patient population. The Children’s Tumor Foundation invites clinics in the United States that see patients affected with NF to apply for Affiliate Clinic status in the Foundation’s NFCN. NFCN aims to:
How do centers become part of the NFCN? Centers must submit an application to NFCN. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed by members of our Clinical Care Advisory Board. Based on the information provided, clinics deemed to provide appropriate NF care through multidisciplinary implementation of current consensus clinical care guidelines will achieve NFCN Affiliate status. NFCN Affiliate Clinics are recognized as such for one calendar year after approval, with renewal based on excellence of NF care as demonstrated by an annual report.
Funding opportunities: Various opportunities are announced to NFCN Affiliates each fall for the following year.
