| A Medical Symposium is either a half or full day meeting designed to disseminate accurate, up-to-date medical information to patients and families, healthcare professionals, educators, and other service providers relevant to NF. A slate of speakers, usually two to four, are scheduled to provide information on such topics as "Progress in the Treatment of NF: Overview, Research, and Genetic Testing", How to Talk to Your Children About NF", "Living with Neurofibromatosis", and "Learning and Academic Challenges Associated with NF". | |
