The Children's Tumor Foundation is partnering with Mayo Clinic to offer a "Health Fair" for individuals with NF2 or Schwannomatosis on July 29, 2011 as part of the NF Forum.
What is the Health Fair?
The "Health Fair" is designed to provide an opportunity for a select group of individuals with NF2 or Schwannomatosis to be informally evaluated by an expert panel consisting of medical professionals (surgeons, neurologists, geneticists, ENTs, and others) that have special expertise with NF2/Schwannomatosis. Evaluation by experts is at no charge to patients. How do I participate?
To participate in the Health Fair, you must be registered to attend the 2011 NF Forum and complete a short application form. Limited spots are available. If selected, Health Fair participants will be required to provide demographic and background information and some medical records in advance of their assessment. Health Fair appointments will take place at Mayo Clinic Rochester, and patients will have an opportunity to privately ask questions and meet face-to-face with leading NF2 and Schwannomatosis experts. Application deadline is June 28, 2011.

When and Where?
Transportation by coach bus to Mayo Clinic from the NF Forum headquarters at the Marriott Airport Minneapolis will be provided. If you are interested in participating, please register for the NF Forum and complete the short "Health Fair" application form. You will be notified about whether you've been selected in advance of the Forum (sometime in May/June 2011).

Transportation will be provided but limited spots are available. If you are interested, be sure to register early!
