MA - Dylan Thompson PDF Print E-mail

Dylan is 9 years old and has neurofibromatosis. In the past, he has suffered significant visual losses such as his depth perception, binocular, and peripheral vision. He has had surgery for this but they were unable to restore his vision. He will require 2-3 more surgeries just to maintain alignment. Most recently he lost the auditory nerve on the right side and is now half deaf. Even with his good ear, his word recognition is very poor making it difficult to understand speech in adverse settings. These are all nerve related and permenant. He struggles daily to over come many obstacles including muscular, nutritional and neurological issues as well. Some of those issues are causing structural problems. He has scapular winging in both shoulders causing his chest wall to sink in and become deformed. Dylan is part of the Racing 4 Research Team at The Children's Tumor Foundation and is raising awareness and money to help find a cure for Neurofibromatosis. He needs your help and together we can help thousands of kids who are affected by NF! Although money can't buy happiness, it can bring hope and with hope, all things are possible!! Thank you for all the continued love and support for our little guy! XOXO

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
