NY - Jonathon White PDF Print E-mail

My name is Jonathon White, I am 12 years old and I have neurofibromatosis (NF). I live in Staten Island, New York with my family, I am the youngest of three boys and I am the only one in my family with NF1. I have the café-au-lait spots, learning difficulties, speech problems, ADHD, and motor skill problems. I go for MRIs once a year and see a neurologist. But this does not stop me. I belong to Boy Scouts and I currently working on my 1st class badge. My troop goes camping at least once a month. My troop is Troop 150 in Staten Island. This summer was my second year at NF Camp in Utah. I had a really good time. My family is very involved in raising money for NF because there is no cure right now. My family started the first walk on Staten Island, we hosted baseball games with the Staten Island Yankess, and my mom works at Staten Island University Hospital and has cake sales to help. Also my church helped but this is not enough. That’s why Racing4Research is so important so we can find a cure. Please donate today. Thank you, Jonathon White.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
