How Do I Change My Password?
1. Go to the login page and click on the "Register Name / Update Password" link.
2. On the next page click on the "Log-in to change settings " link.
3. Type in your "Username" and "Password" then click on the "Log-in to change settings" button.
4. On the next page choose the "Change Password" button.
5. Fill in the three fields with the approptiate information and click "Change Password."
6. Done.


What are the Technical Requirements for the Chat Room?
You need a Java-compatible browser to access the NF chat room. The WebTV© browser does not currently support Java.

Forgot your password?

1. Go to the login page and click on the "Register Name / Update Password" link.
2. On the next page click on the "Forgot your password?" link.
3. Type in your "Username," then click on the "Retrieve Password" button.
4. You're password will be sent to your email address.


When is the NF "chat room" open?

Due to the international nature of this site, the NF Chat Room will remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This will allow people to establish convenient sessions with each other across continents and in every time-zone.

We would also like to take this opportunity to point out that although this resource does not support all languages, those based on a Latin-script alphabet can be used in an international session. For example, someone from Germany may write "Ich bin ein Berliner", a French person can state "c'est magnifique" or someone from Spain may say "Soy de Espana". However, special characters such as ñ, ü or ç are not supported by the chat room.

Although for structural purposes the Children's Tumor Foundation has specifically designated 10 p.m. on weeknights and 3 p.m. on weekend afternoons (EST) for discussions, we urge you to organize sessions at a time convenient to you.

Does this chat room allow you to set up profiles?

No. The foundation is currently using an outside company to host the NF chat room. Unfortunately, the software they provide does not allow users to create profiles. Several of our chat room members have requested this feature. We will keep this in mind for future software upgrades.
