Family Day for Children with Neurofibromatosis

Apr 7, 2018
8:00am - 4:00pm

Children's National Medical Center
111 Michigan Ave, NW; 2nd floor main: Auditorium
Washington, DC

With the support of the Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF), the Gilbert Institute for Neurofibromatosis (NF) at Children’s National Health System is hosting a meeting to support children with NF and their families. This event will provide the opportunity to interact with clinicians and researchers who work with children with NF. Experts like Maria Acosta, M.D. Pediatric Neurologist, will discuss medically relevant topics like MEK, autism, scoliosis, and ONG. Specialists will orient families to ongoing research projects and new programs like family support groups and webinars. We will also host a variety of fun activities for children with NF and their siblings.
