It’s cold outside! These chilly winter days are a great time to reflect upon a number of the NF Walks that took place during the warmer autumn months of August and September. Thanks to all of the participants, volunteers, organizers, and donors who made these events, and all the 2017 NF Walks, so impactful!

NF Walk, Denver

The 2017 NF Walk, Denver took place at Clement Park in Littleton, Colorado on August 19th. Basking in the sunshine, NF Heroes were honored, amazing items were auctioned, and pictures with superheroes were taken. Children played in the kid’s area, and everyone enjoyed cruising around the lake. More than $40,000 was raised for NF research.

NF Walk, Salt Lake City

The NF Walk in Salt Lake City, Utah was full of fun and excitement this past August! The kids had an amazing time with face painters, Salt Lake City firefighters, and Davis County royalty. A big thank you all of our community supporters for their delicious food and drink donations, and to all who attended, donated, and volunteered. Thanks to you, more than $10,000 was raised to support the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

NF Walk, Kansas City

The 3rd annual NF Walk, Kansas City was a great success, raising nearly $16,000, and more than doubling the number of attendees. Kansas City is catching on and wants to help CTF end NF! Children had a great time doing kid’s activities such as interactive games, a kid’s run, and face painting. Three tables of amazing raffle items had everyone excited! Our DJ, Tony, along with our emcee, 99.7 The Point's Brady Goodman, kept everyone pumped up and laughing. Thanks to Brandi Lynchard Photography, many unforgettable moments were captured throughout the event.

NF Walk, Las Vegas

What a beautiful day it was in Las Vegas as many people walked to help end NF! The NF Walk, Las Vegas attracted a great crowd, and several new families facing the challenges of NF were able to meet other NF families. The kids had a great time playing games, winning prizes, getting their faces painted, feeding the ducks, dancing with the DJ, and munching on cotton candy. More than $8,000 was raised to support NF research. Thank you to everyone who donated and came to the NF Walk!

NF Walk, Maine

More than 60 participants walked the Eastern Trail in Saco, Maine on September 16th in support of the NF community, and more than $11,000 was raised in honor of all our NF Heroes! Thank you to Samantha Canane for organizing a wonderful community event.
