Music for a Better World is a student organization at Manhattan School of  Music dedicated to using music to create a positive impact on our communities.  Through an annual charity partnership and benefit concert, as well as various informational and fundraising events, MBW aims to encourage activism and social accountability among MSM's student populace by giving students the knowledge and opportunity to use their talents for good causes.  This year we are proud to stand by the Children's Tumor Foundation in the fight against NF.

Manhattan School of Music is dedicated to the personal, artistic, and intellectual development of aspiring musicians, from Precollege through postgraduate studies.  Founded as a community music school by Janet Daniels Schenck in 1918, today MSM is recognized for its more than 960 superbly talented undergraduate and graduate students who come from more than 50 countries and nearly all 50 states; a world-renowned artist-teacher faculty; and innovative curricula.
