Funding for NF research, education, advocacy, and patient care comes from individual donors and organizations who support our mission. We passionately pursue and take pride in our vision to end NF while maintaining the highest standards to allocate donor dollars wisely, consistently meeting or exceeding nonprofit watchdog standards.
In 2016, Children’s Tumor Foundation received, for the seventh year in a row, a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. According to their rating service, receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that CTF adheres to good governance and other best practices, and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way. Only 2% of the charities Charity Navigator rates have received at least 7 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Children’s Tumor Foundation outperforms most other charities in America.
Once again in 2015, the Children's Tumor Foundation earned accreditation from the Better Business Bureau. This indicated that the Foundation has met the Better Business Bureau's 20 Standards for Charity Accountability, and that is continuously adheres to best practices in governance, finance, fundraising, and measuring effectiveness. Year after year, the Children's Tumor Foundation proudly works to achieve its mission in accordance to these standards.
