Westin was 3 years old when he was diagnosed with NF1. Westin has a speech delay, café au lait spots, and scoliosis. When Westin was 4 we had the genetic testing done to confirm diagnosis; he has NF by spontaneous mutation.
Each day we spread awareness about NF on social media and by talking to people in our community about NF.
Westin enjoys going to early intervention and preschool. He also enjoys catching frogs, riding bike and jumping on the trampoline. Westin may struggle with speech but his smile and helpful attitude will light up a room.
