New York Jets Placekicker Nick Folk is the Children’s Tumor Foundation’s Featured NF Champion

Nick Folk, placekicker for the New York Jets, has been a supporter of the Children’s Tumor Foundation for over 12 years. Nick chose the Foundation as his charity because his cousin, Blake Robinson, has neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). Nick has supported Blake in every way he can, even putting football practices on hold to fly to California when Blake was undergoing brain surgery.

Nick has been an active Children’s Tumor Foundation fundraiser for many years. He has co-hosted galas, donated auction items, attended NF Walks, and even conducted a “Kick for a Cure” campaign during which he pledged money for each point he scored within the football season. In addition, Nick plans to help the Foundation lobby Congress for NF research funding.

This fall, Nick is lending his support to the Los Angeles NF Walk on October 20th.  Please click the here for more information or to make a donation.
