Post-doctoral positions are available at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (Nashville, TN) to study the molecular mechanisms underlying the focal bony lesions in NF1.  The studies aim at understanding the role of NF1 in the mesenchymal lineage and are based on in vivo studies and the use of conditional mouse models. Preliminary data, tools, mouse models and funding are already available. No specific experience with bone studies is necessary, but the candidate should come with high motivation, high scientific rigor and clear career goals. Candidates should contact Dr. F. Elefteriou (florent.elefteriou@vanderbilt.edu) and submit their resume, including references.
